We are learning every day that there are ways in which people with Parkinson’s disease can enhance their quality of life and even build strength, flexibility and speed!
By exercising with Border City coaches who know the ropes, you can fight your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better. These non-contact boxing classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier and happier life.

PRICING
Intake Assessment $100
A 60-90 minute assessment must be completed to determine your individual training needs. (Includes your boxing gloves, gel wraps, t-shirt, skipping rope, water bottle, and gym bag.)
Monthly Membership $100
(Unlimited access to 12 classes per month = $8/class)
Boxing Ontario Membership $20 (annual fee)

HOW TO JOIN BORDER CITY BOXING
1. Observe a Class
-
Come in to any regularly scheduled class and see what the Rock Steady method is all about, meet the trainers, and meet the boxers. We will give you a medical form when you come to observe.
2. Medical Form
-
Have your medical practitioner sign the medical form.
3. Intake Assessment
-
Call to schedule your one-on-one personal intake assessment to determine your specific training needs and complete membership materials. The assessment takes about 60-90 minutes to complete and comes with all your training gear.
4. Fight Back Against Parkinson's
-
Once your assessment is complete, you can begin your training and join us for our classes!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BOXING, PHYSICAL TRAINING, OR EXERCISE?
Even if you have never exercised before, we will walk you through the various training movements step-by-step! This is a non-contact boxing training program and we will teach you everything you need to know so you can fight your opponent: Parkinson's.
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BOXING, PHYSICAL TRAINING, OR EXERCISE?
Anyone with Parkinson's, no matter how advanced the symptoms may be, is welcome to join our classes. We can tailor the drills and movements to your needs. After your intake assessment, we will be able to determine how to best meet your needs.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?
Two to three times per week is optimal.
